Osteo-core plasty: minimally invasive approach for subchondral pathologies
نویسندگان
چکیده
The subchondral bone is a critical part of the osteochondral unit, providing nutrients to overlying articular cartilage, thereby maintaining viability chondral tissue. also provides firm mechanical support assist with stability cartilage and distribution stress. Subchondral pathology, diagnosed as marrow lesion (BML) on magnetic resonance imaging, may be seen in variety pathologic conditions, including knee osteoarthritis (OA). Bone lesions accelerate degenerative changes joint, treatment these prolong joint longevity. Presently, options for are limited. Osteo-core plasty minimally invasive pathology that consists two parts: (1) decompression administration aspirate concentrate (BMAC) promote tissue healing, (2) implantation autograft provide support. In an observational study 24 patients have been treated due symptomatic lesions. At 2 year follow-up they showed significant improvement patient-reported scores compared preoperative assessment. Based early clinical data has demonstrated efficacy associated osteoarthritis.

Minimally invasive surgery for Achilles tendon pathologies
Minimally invasive trauma and orthopedic surgery is increasingly common, though technically demanding. Its use for pathologies of the Achilles tendon (AT) hold the promise to allow faster recovery times, shorter hospital stays, and improved functional outcomes when compared to traditional open procedures, which can lead to difficulty with wound healing because of the tenuous blood supply and in...

The nose, the most prominent aesthetic feature in the facial profile, is a three-dimensional, intricate trapezoid solid, encompassing the external bony and cartilaginous vault with an overlying skin cover and internal cavities. Through their intricate structural interdependency, these topographic features contribute both to form and function. Given its central location in the midface, the nose ...

background: laparoscopy or minimally invasive surgery is a surgical procedure in which laparoscope and other surgical instruments are inserted inside body via a few small incisions. laparoscope is used to look inside the patient's body and records displayed images. temporal segmentation of laparoscopic videos has many applications like detecting laparoscopic anomalies and interrupts. it is prer...
متن کاملMinimally Invasive Approach to Esophagectomy
BACKGROUND Recent advances in laparoscopic and thoracoscopic surgery have made it possible to perform esophagectomy using minimally invasive techniques. The aim of this report was to present our preliminary experience with minimally invasive esophagectomy. METHODS We reviewed our experience on eight patients who underwent minimally invasive esophagectomy using either laparoscopic and/or thora...
متن کاملMinimally Invasive Thoracic Corpectomy: Surgical Strategies for Malignancy, Trauma, and Complex Spinal Pathologies
The rapid expansion of minimally invasive techniques for corpectomy in the thoracic spine provides promise to redefine treatment options in this region. Techniques have evolved permitting anterior, lateral, posterolateral, and midline posterior corpectomy in a minimally invasive fashion. We review the numerous techniques that have been described, including thoracoscopy, tubular retraction, and ...
